Plancha Latin Kitchen is looking for Prep Cooks who can deliver on our promise to offer our guests the best quality, sustainable, fresh Latin American experience possible.
The ideal candidate will possess a great passion for food, take pride in their work, is not averse to working long hours and has excellent knowledge of all food safety protocols. This candidate should work and live by these rules while at work in our kitchen.
The ideal candidate will also have a positive can-do attitude, good communication skills, patience and great endurance.
The Ideal Candidate Should:
Have a great attitude and work ethic
Be Serv Safe certified or Food Handler certified
Maintain a clean kitchen and work area
Maintain organized kitchen area
Read and follow recipes
Understand kitchen metrics
Learn and understand our menu
Work different stations in the kitchen and front line
Have great sense of urgency
Follow all food safety protocols at all times
The basic culinary skills we look for are:
Knowledge of kitchen tools and utensils
Good Hand to eye coordination
Good Learning Skills
